Roads & Rythms - Logo Design

Brief

Roads & Rythms is a special blend of music and travel. Just like the name suggests, the brand captures the free spirit of the open road while syncing with the lively beats of music. To meet the client's vision, the aim was to create a simple, clean, and concise logo that represents both aspects of the brand - the desire for travel and the moving melodies of music.

Sketching

Before diving into the design process, I took some time to sketch out a few ideas based on the brand brief. While my sketches may not have been the most polished, they served as a valuable tool for translating the multitude of ideas swirling in my mind onto paper.

Iterations

After several rounds of discussions with the client, incorporating my rough mockups, we collectively settled on a few concepts to progress with. I then transformed these concepts into high-fidelity logo designs.

The client was quite adamant about including the letter ‘R’ in the logo itself. Given that their brand name features alliteration, I found myself resonating with their idea. As a result, we collectively decided to move forward with a logo that aligned with their vision. Here’s how I came up with the concept -

The Outcome

The location pointer, vinyl disc, and the letter R came together to inspire the logo concept. Both the client and I connected with the concept, feeling that it truly represented the brand's vision. Here is the final result:
